Warlock introduction by Ciiro

Hiya, i'm Ciiro u see..

I'm a gnome warlock u see..

In WoW (World of Warcraft), there are several class that can become a warlock like me u see..
From Alliance u can choose either humans or a gnome like me u see..
For the freakin' Horde u see, it can be either Orcs, Undead and the Blood Elves u see..

U see, us warlocks are like those mages, but we use dark magic and DOT or DPS (Damage over time/Damage per Second) magic like Corruption and Immolation..
Our trademark are the demon that we can control..
there are 4 type of demon that we can learn to summon, and the other 3 are a little bit complicated u see..
Each with their own unique specialty..

Weapon we can use: Dagger, Sword, Staff and Wands
Armor we can wear: Cloth

Our demonic pet: Imp (start with this), Voidwalker, Succubus and Felhunter [demonology base warlocks can summon a Felguard (Sven, if u play DoTA)]
Other type of demon pet are: Infernal and Doombringer

The Stats:
Well i prefer to get better +stamina items whenever i can 'coz warlocks will be using Life Tap to replenish mana..Life Tap consume hp and turn it into mana..so, more stamina = more mana u see..
But your stat should depend on what kind of warlock u wanna be..
Affliction(warlock focus on DPS spells): these warlocks need +spell hit & +spell power items
Demonology(warlock focus on his/her demons): need to stay alive so +stamina & +spell damage/critical are good
Destruction(warlock focus on power spells): +spell power, +spell crit, Spell Haste and +Intellect maybe..

Warlock in PVP:
-warlock can make healthstone (like potion but can carry only 1 and have different cooldown with potions).
In PVP, u might end up being a healthstone vending machine..but to make 1 u will need a soulshard.
Warlock may obtain a soulshard while using Drain Soul on an enemy, but the enemy must give exp or honor when killed. Most of warlock powerful spells need a soulshard to perform.

The Demon Pets & Minion:
IMP:
Well, these little guys are newbie best friend..you'll learn to love these guys 'coz you won't get anything else beside an imp..some high level warlock will stick with this guy mostly destruction warlock u see..
This guy has a high mana regen, fit to be a mana battery (drain mana from him).
His Blood Pact are very useful 'coz he increase the stamina of party members (which includes you).
U can get this guy at lvl.2 by completing a specific quest..

Voidwalker:
Voidwalker are like tanks for warlock..with high stamina, armor and a decent mana..
He can use Torment which is like the taunt skill to control mobs (monsters) away from u..
The downside of him is his melee attack power..he's ok for levelling untill lv30+..
But there are better option at higher levels..u can get this guy at lvl.10 and completing a specific quest..

Succubus:
well well well..u like seeing bikini girl with wing? A succubus is perfect for u, u *************!!!
A succubus is much weaker than a Voidwalker but she hits hard..She starts with Lash of Pain, an instant-cast direct damage that deals 30 dmg (rank 1).Later she'll learn Seduction, much like stun but only works for humanoids (human like characters). She is somewhat useful in PVP, not good in an instance (dungeon place) 'coz she can't handle too many men touching her..ooo yeah :)
U can get her at lvl.20 by completing a specific quest..

Felhunter:
Being a dog from hell, this puppy loves eating mana..an efficient mage/warlock killer..
He has Tainted Blood ability, which reduce attackers power a little, but don't count on him as a tank..
So as the Devour Magic ability, which removes negatif buff from u or removes positive buff from an enemy..
Mainly used in PvP's 'coz of his spellcaster-killing specialty..Not so well in PvE though..
U can get this pup at lvl.30 by completing another specific quest...

The Felguard:
The powerhouse, perfect for soloing..His abilities, which must be acquired through purchased grimoires, include a Demonic Frenzy, taunt, cleave, and intercept (which charges an enemy and stuns them for 3 seconds)..can help with grinding very well..he can fight multiple enemies by himself..U might consider a felguard as your soulmate if you're spending talents in demonology..U can get him by spending 41 points in demonology talent..

*I will tell u about the infernal & the doombringer later..stay tuned u see..

Love,
Chiiro
